350 euros does not come
Everything would be clear if it weren’t for a few minor glitches: The platform is down and in most cases the money hasn’t arrived yet. The Siisl website has been active since September 1; For applications made until the 15th of the month, payment will be made on the 27th of the same month, and for applications made after, the payment will be made on the 15th of the following month. But things don’t quite work out that way; Citizens, who are already in financial difficulties and now find themselves “abandoned”, cannot even count on the 350-euro education and work support. A nightmare situation also described everyday event: There are people whose applications have been accepted for three months but have not seen the euro yet.
The situation should be resolved in the next few days, but in the meantime, in Facebook groups where former recipients of citizen income are looking for information about the new subsidy, many people are experiencing the same situation: The money has not even reached those who already have it. launched a training course, which was a key factor for the “liberation” of payments. According to data from the Ministry of Labor, more than 120 thousand people have requested education and work support, but only a small number have already received the first transfer of 350 euros. Official data is not available, but CGIL estimates that only 20% of the cases handled by job centers appear to be recipients.
Databases problem
Why isn’t the money coming? The reasons would be different. The first is the Siisl platform, whose database does not communicate with the database of employment centers and therefore cannot refer to data on employable people. Therefore, again due to IT errors, many applicants are unable to proceed with the first step of the procedure, the “digital activation agreement”, and their data is not transmitted to CPI until this is verified. Job centers that do not have up-to-date lists are not only unable to assist those seeking support in starting the process, but also have to wait for the data first entered by the user into the MyAnpal platform to be transmitted to other systems. Inevitably a slower and more laborious procedure.
But it doesn’t end there. Getting past the first step doesn’t mean you’ve solved the problem. Even regarding the educational activities in which the person participates, there is a data “mess” that slows down the whole process: The user registers with MyInpal, but only later are his references transferred to Siisl. Participation in these activities is a basic requirement for approval of payments, but if notification of the start of a training course is made late, payments will not automatically be on time either.
When will the money arrive?
Walter Rizzetto from Fratelli d’Italia, who recently interviewed Mattino 5, said the following on the subject: “It is true that all payments of the famous 350 euros have not started yet, obviously since this is a new payment, cross-references between data and platforms require a few more steps.” However, Rizzetto added, “After consulting with the Department of Labor, I can confirm that payments will begin within 7-10 days.” So the wait continues for many struggling former earners who are waiting for concrete answers.
