“Lidl Polska will start 2024 with ambitious plans for salary increases. The company’s team currently numbers almost 27,000 people. The chain still plans to systematically increase employment. By 2024, it plans to increase employment by a total of more than 600 people – in Lidl Polska’s stores, warehouses and headquarters,” we read in the company’s announcement.

From January 2024, store employees will earn between PLN 4,550 gross and PLN 5,550 gross at the start of their employment. However, in the case of warehouse staff salary, after increases, this will vary from PLN 5,050 gross to PLN 5,650 gross at the start of employment. Store managers, in turn, can count on a remuneration ranging from PLN 7,250 gross.

Lidl and Biedronka increase salaries. How much can you earn?

The remuneration of employees working in Biedronka stores and distribution centers will be higher from January 2024 from PLN 650 to PLN 900 gross per month for a full-time employee, depending on experience, individual tasks and position, the chain announced. A salesperson-cashier who starts working online will earn from next year at least PLN 4,700 to PLN 5,050 gross, and if he or she has more than 3 years of experience, from PLN 4,850 to PLN 5,300 gross. A warehouse worker with the least experience can count on PLN 5,050-5,350 gross, and an administrative and warehouse inspector receives PLN 5,800-6,100 gross.

“The largest employer in Poland will allocate more than PLN 600 million annually for wage increases for employees in basic positions,” the company wrote in its press release.
