From January 2024, salaries of employees working in Biedronka stores and distribution centers will increase from PLN 650 to PLN 900 gross per month.
“More than 65,000 employees of the Biedronka chain in stores and distribution centers will receive higher remuneration from PLN 650 to PLN 900 gross from January 1, 2024.” – we read in the company’s announcement.
It states that the average salary increase in stores will be 17%. “The largest employer in Poland will allocate more than PLN 600 million annually for wage increases for employees in basic positions,” it said.
The chain has allocated more than PLN 160 million to support its employees during Christmas.

Salaries at Biedronka. How much can you earn?
A salesperson-cashier who starts working at the network will earn not less than PLN 4,700 to PLN 5,050 gross from January 2024, and if the employee has more than 3 years of experience, from PLN 4,850 to PLN 5,300 gross. A warehouse worker with the least experience can count on PLN 5,050-5,350 gross, and an administrative and warehouse inspector receives PLN 5,800-6,100 gross.
Previously, Biedronka announced that it had launched its 3,500th store in Skórzewo, near Poznań. At the end of Q3 2023, the Biedronka chain in Poland consisted of 3,473 branches.
