TVN24 reports on this. Oleksiak was fired by the decision of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The information was confirmed by money.pl. The person concerned did not want to respond to the messages. She emphasized that no one has contacted her about this.

Oleksiak is replaced by Magdalena Jaworska. Prime Minister Donald Tusk will appoint him today, January 4.

The current president of PANSA was appointed to this position by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the end of March 2022. Her main task was to reach an agreement with the air traffic controllers who were on strike at the time. As she said in one of the interviews: “As soon as specific requirements for actions appeared that could improve our safety activities, we accepted and implemented them.”

Changes in state-owned enterprises

Oleksiak’s dismissal is a new personnel decision taken by the new government in recent days. On Wednesday, the Minister of State Assets dismissed Wojciech Kałuża from the board of directors of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa. Earlier, Janina Goss resigned from her seat on the Orlen supervisory board.

According to media reports, a personnel carousel will be launched in companies controlled by the Ministry of Finance in the coming weeks. The whole thing is supervised by the head of MAP, Borys Budka.

“A few days before the end of the year, the Ministry of State Assets sent letters to government agencies to convene general shareholders’ meetings. This is an important step in the replacement of members of supervisory boards and later of boards of directors of companies,” reports Business Insider. .

Due to regulations, it is possible to convene general meetings around January and February at the earliest. “The new coalition is in no hurry to launch a personnel sweep, as it should quickly find several hundred candidates for supervisory and board positions in key state finance departments. Of the large companies, only Orlen, Enea and PGE provided information about planned general shareholder meetings. In two recent cases, these will take place at the request of the Ministry of Borys Budka,” we read.
