Prices in Poland are rising, albeit at an increasingly slower pace – according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS).

“In December this year, the biggest impact on the price index of consumer goods and services in general, compared to the previous month, was higher prices for food (by 0.2%), restaurants and hotels (by 0.5%) , transport (by 0.2 percent) and recreation and culture (by 0.3 percent), causing the index to rise by 0.06 percentage points, 0.03 percentage points and 0.02 percentage points respectively.
