The minister dismissed the board of directors of the Polish Business Development Agency

I fired the PARP board. It is the largest institution supporting entrepreneurs in Poland, the Minister of Funds said.

“I have dismissed the board of directors of PARP. It is the largest institution supporting entrepreneurs in Poland. Today I announce a transparent competition for a new president. PARP will be a partner for Polish entrepreneurs, not a regulator,” Minister Katarzyna wrote Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. on the X website.

– It is the largest institution supporting entrepreneurs in Poland and has enormous funds to support entrepreneurs. In the 2021-2027 Financial Perspective, this amounts to around PLN 20 billion from the Structural Funds. This year, PARP should transfer PLN 3.5 billion to entrepreneurs, the head of MFiPR said at a press conference. She chose Joanna Zębaczyńska-Światek, former director of the Department for Coordination and Implementation of Programs at PARP, as acting president.

Deputy Fund Minister Jan Szyszko states that “the battle for the president of PARP sets the standard for the appointment of the agency’s state authorities.”21 Instead of ten days of recruitment, measurable evaluation criteria and a knowledge test for candidates for the presidency. PARP deserves the leadership of the best Polish managers,” we read.
