A new type of fares announced by the airline Bird which will no longer have sizes, but rather packages with different benefits and services.

Users no longer buy their ticket in sizes XS, S, M, L and XXL, but now pay for a service.Basic’, ‘Classic’, ‘Flex’ and ‘Business’.
According to what the airline has explained, within the Americas, with the exception of Brazil, the new arrangement will work as follows:
- BASE: will be intended for those who “fly light”, according to the airline. Includes a personal item and check-in on the website or app.
- classic: Travelers are allowed to bring one personal item, one carry-on bag of 10 kilos, and one checked bag of 23 kilos. You can check in at counter (airport), website or app. They can also select Economy seats and earn LifeMiles miles.
- Bow: contains a personal item; a hand luggage of 10 kilos; a checked baggage of 23 kilos; check in at counter, website or app; choice of Plus, emergency exit or Economy seats; pre-flight changes and refunds and earning LifeMiles.
- company: This rate allows you to take one personal item, one carry-on baggage weighing 10 kilos and two pieces of luggage weighing 32 kilos in the hold. Travelers can check in at the counter and priority baggage delivery. Plus, they can choose a Business Class seat, earn LifeMiles miles and make changes or refunds. They get access to the so-called avianca lounges, or VIP rooms at airports.
The ‘custom’ schedule is available until January 31, but tickets purchased through this modality will not be changed.
