This initiative has a savings goal for individual users that entail “rewards or punishments” depending on the management and behavior of the energy corresponding to the last billed consumption.
The proposal stipulates that those who consume more will have to pay more citizens those who consume less can have a economic incentive.

According to Observadores Col’s calculations, a house in Barranquilla could register 395 kW/h, while a house in stratum 4 in Bogotá could consume 225 kW/h in monthly consumption.

While a date for this proposal is currently unknown, it is believed that it could be signed this week and take effect in the next user billing cycle.
