Prime Minister Donald Tusk participated in the event at the start of the construction of the Baltica 2 wind farm.
– This is also such a symbolic moment, because energy is something that can guarantee us and to guarantee us both safety and the competitiveness of the Polish economy – Tusk said during the Warsaw event that inaugurated the work.
The prime minister noted the technical parameters that Baltica 2 -Windpark is being discussed.
– 30 billion zlotys, 1.5 gigawat, here all figures make a really impressive impression, this is something that the current measures and ideas about wind farms actually exceed – the prime minister said.
Tusk: it is just part of a gigantic project
Donald Tusk drawn attention to the scale of the new investment and its status in the history of the Polish economy.
– We are talking about the largest turbines in the world, we are talking about the future of Polish energy, because it is worth realizing that this great investment, one of the largest in the history of Poland in general, only one Part of this gigantic project in Polish energy – explained the head of the government.
The Prime Minister pointed out priorities for the wind farm.
– By 2040 we think of 18 gigawatts from the wind. It is as if we have produced so much electricity out of the wind as 4 nuclear power stations of the two we are planning in Poland – he noticed.

– This is a very good time, a very good place, a very good circumstance that today with such a complete conviction and with great pride and satisfaction to announce that 2025 will be a year of breakthrough – the head of the government said .
