Presidential elections for PLN 550 million

The national election agency estimates that the costs of this year’s presidential election will be around 550 million. This is 246 million more than that of five years ago.

Information on this subject was provided by the head of KBW Rafał Tkacz. According to provisional calculations, the organization of presidential elections will consume approximately. PLN 246 million more than in the case of that organized in 2020 and about 376 million more than that from 2015. De Wever has informed about this, who, responsible for such a state of affairs, mainly relates to the issue of payments to committee members.

– When we had problems completing the regional warehouses of election committees, they were clearly lower. A diet of PLN 700 is currently provided for the chairman of the committee, for a deputy – PLN 600, and for a private member – PLN 500. In the case of the second round we are talking about 3/4 of these amounts. Finally, we can say that the diet is sufficient for the work that is carried out by the members of the committee, who also translated into interest in its performance – be on.

KBW: There will be numerous voting cards

Printing election cards itself costs relatively little – it is more than six million PLN. These costs apply to prints in an amount that is sufficient for the number of votes. However, not every committee receives the same number of cards. – The point is to avoid situations such as those in Wrocław Jagoda, where these cards supposedly miss a while – said KBW’s head. The office decided to introduce more election cards, also in Resorts – there may be more willing to vote there than in other places.
