Foreigners who worked in Poland gave PLN 5.6 billion abroad in the first quarter of 2025, which means a decrease in PLN 0.3 billion J/Y – said the National Bank of Poland (NBP).

“In the first quarter of 2025, the funds transferred abroad by foreigners who worked in Poland was 5.6 billion. It was a lower amount with PLN 0.3 billion compared to the same period last year. The most important reason for this inheritance was the decreasing total amount of seasonal immigrants. Geographic structure were still dominated by transfers to Ukraine.

Decrease in the reward of foreigners who work seasonal

Germany remained with the greatest value of monetary messages. In the first quarter of 2025, Poland who worked there laid 2.1 billion to the country. The United Kingdom came in second place, from which PLN 0.6 billion came to Poland. In total, messages from these two countries accounted for 56.3 percent. All transfers, the central bank replaced.
