“After the start of this war, when we saw the plight of Ukrainian refugees in Poland and other countries, we wanted to make a donation to alleviate it.”– said Edoardo Fracanzan, CEO of the Peanut Chamber of Argentina, which brings together 20 companies that have donated their products to the event.
He said when the idea came up, all the members of the chamber agreed. “When you can, you should try to help as much as you can,” he added.
According to the executive, the majority Argentine companies have strong commercial ties with both Ukraine and Russia, which are significant consumers of this food.

The director noted that the average consumption of peanuts in Argentina is one kilogram per capita per year, so along with the goods there are peanuts per 10,000 people.
