Oil production rose in March to 751 thousand barrels per day

This behavior is explained by the recovery in the production of the fields Yarigui-Cantagallo (Cantagallo-Bolívar), Rubiales (Puerto Gaitán-Meta), Quifa (Puerto Gaitán-Meta), Indico (Cabuyaro-Meta), Chichime SW (Acacias/Guamal-Meta).

When comparing production to the same month of 2021, there is an increase of 0.8%, from 745,427 BOPD to 751,407 BOPD in the third month of 2022.

In terms of commercialized gas production, there was a 0.04% decrease from the previous month, from 1,078.81 mcfd in February 2022 to 1,078.31 mcfd in March of the same year.

According to the information provided by the ANH, this decrease was due to the taking of electrical data and the decrease in potential in the Pandereta, Floreña Mirador, Pauto Sur and Cupiagua Liria fields.

Compared to March 2021, there was a decrease in production of traded gas 5.02%, going from 1,091.70 mcfd to 1,078.31 mcfd.
