Health unions reached agreement on a new collective labor agreement for home care, district nursing and home care employees on Wednesday-Thursday evening. This is reported by the NU’91 trade union. Healthcare workers receive a series of structural wage increases of up to 6%. Agreements have also been made to reduce business pressure and increase control.

In addition, many different arrangements have been put on the agenda between rest and nursing homes and home care. As a result, the travel allowance is improved and the personal contribution for home-work travel will lapse.

It has been determined that employees who are not included in the program to reduce their workload have the right to be unreachable. Also, people should not schedule more than five days a week unless they agree to work harder.

NU’91 says unions will present the results to their members next week. If they agree, the new collective labor agreement will apply until January 1 this year and until December 31, 2023. Then the collective labor agreement will apply to 470,000 employees.
