Solidarity Income: this is the start date of the benefits with the new increase

Coming Thursday, May 19, the solidarity income payment cycle will begin, corresponding to May and June, where from this two-month period the incentive will be $400,000 per household.

It should be remembered that the payment until the last two months was $380,000.

The investment is $1.5 trillion, to meet the payment for this cycle and the accrued payments for this year.

“Since March, we have expanded coverage to reach 4 million vulnerable households. It is part of the commitment of this government, led by President Iván Duque,” emphasized Pierre García Jacquer, director (e) of Social Prosperity.

Payments will be made in stages, starting with banked households.

Before going to the point of payment, it is important to go to the program page: www.ingresosolidario.prosperidadsocial.gov.co. There you can check whether the household is scheduled for payout.

“We are making a special appeal to unbanked households to access the points arranged by SuperGIROS and its affiliate network to collect the funds allocated for their household. There are many households that are not charging and the resources are available to them,” Garcia said.

From July, the amount of the transfer will be differentiated: it depends on the number of family members and the Sisbén IV classification group.

If it’s just one person per household, you’ll receive $420,000 if you’re in Classification Group A and $410,000 if you’re in Group B.

For families with 2 or more members, the amount is $435,000 for Group A and $420,000 for Group B.

Households belonging to group C according to the Sisbén IV classification continue to receive $400,000 pesos every two months.
