Canacol Energy plans to drill up to 12 wells on the Caribbean coast by the end of this year, 8 of which are expected to be exploration wells.
Charle Gamba, president and CEO of Canacol Energy, said that so far, “three wells have been successfully completed.”
For example, the drilling of the Chirimia 1 Sidetrack well was completed, which will be completed and put into production in the coming weeks.
In addition, the drilling of the Alboka 1 exploration well has recently been completed and a second drilling rig has been contracted to drill the Cornamusa 1 exploration well.
According to the company, Alboka 1 and Cornamusa 1 would take approximately five weeks to drill, test and complete.
