Celebration Excelsior players and reporters fled to the catacombs for ADO supporters, who later clashed with the branch. They threw fireworks and objects.
The unrest broke out when the riot police got the situation in the Cars Jeans stadium under control fairly quickly. ME also filed a complaint there.
According to the police in The Hague, ADO supporters have used a lot of violence, police dogs have been used and numerous arrests have been made.
