With the arrival of new CEO Marjan Rintel, he hopes for a “more collaborative attitude” from KLM. He emphasized that the Corona support conditions are not there to punish KLM. But they are there to “make the company fit for the future”.

The company pledged 3.4 billion euros to support KLM. Only part of it was used, which is more than 940 million. And about a third of that amount has already been repaid. Last week, the company announced that it wanted to buy new shares in parent company Air France-KLM for 220 million euros.
