Shareholders Sura elect new board with three seats for Gilinski

This new composition reflects the results of the public takeover bids (OPA) presented by the Gilinski Group through its subsidiaries through shares of the two of the three companies that make up the GEA cast, such as Surah Group and Group Nurtresa.

In Sura, Gilinski assures that it has a stake of approximately 38% with its subsidiary JGDB Holding, as it adds the share purchases made after the three takeover bids.

In the case of Nutresa, the stake is 30.8%, in addition, a new takeover bid has been launched, this time by Grupo Argos, with which it wants to acquire at least 26% of the shares of this company, the third most important to the GEA.

It should be remembered that Jorge Mario Velásquez, president of Grupo Argos, Alejandro Piedrahita, vice president of finance of the same; and independents María Carolina Uribe and Jaime Bermúdez Merizalde had resigned from Grupo Sura’s board of directors a few days ago.

In addition, three members of the Nutresa board have also resigned from their positions within the board of this company. They are Juana Francisca Llano Cadavid, Gonzalo Alberto Pérez Rojas and Jorge Mario Velásquez Jaramillo.
