Francesco Facchinetti explodes on social media and vents against the trend of certain influencers and personalities particularly exposed in the entertainment world, who after the elections raised a fuss against the new Meloni government. The problem, according to the manager, would not be their political position, but that outcry against fascism, for the return of Mussolini’s dictatorship, for the need for resistance without any logical link linking these concepts with today’s reality.
Francesco Facchinetti’s rant against influencers
Francesco Facchinetti does not mention names who vent on Instagram, but it is clear from his words that the reference is to all those who have somehow “marked” their political position, speaking out against the new center-right government and exploiting references to dictatorship by Mussolini to be indignant:
I’m so into ** ate it, I can’t shut up. There are some more or less famous characters who are very angry with the victory of Giorgia Meloni and cover themselves with ridicule saying hallucinating words.
Some even uncomfortable words like ‘Resistance’, when they don’t know anything about the Resistance, you weren’t there. I had a partisan grandfather who told me about it, but despite that I don’t know anything about it, so I don’t use that word. Use the right word, use ‘Opposition’, because words have weight.
Someone even said that old people shouldn’t be voted on: it is argued that Meloni won thanks to old people who don’t understand anything and don’t know who to vote for. I didn’t vote for Meloni, but how do you still use the word ‘fascist’ and think Italy can return to the regime? But do you know what the hell you’re saying or not? Very angry with the left, with the PD, a useless party that has done nothing in 20 years.
Francesca Michielin’s Resistance and Damiano dei Maneskin’s Scream
Among the positions that caused the most discussion is that of Francesca Michielinwho tweeted after the vote’Resistance starts today‘. Words perceived out of context and without foundation. Damiano David of Maneskin himself had written on his social networks: ‘today is a sad day‘, resting a CNN headline with very clear references: “Giorgia Meloni will be the most far-right prime minister since the days of Mussolini.” Then, they discussed in particular the positions of the Milanese influencer Giulia Torelli, who spoke of the elderly as incapable, but responsible for the vote of Giorgia Meloni.
