After a year, the boat is found with only half the crew on board. The first episode of the new series Survivors on Rai 1 of October 3, 2022 with Lino Guanciale begins right in the port of Genoa, from where the boat Arianna with the twelve passengers sets sail, before the sinking. Rai’s new fiction is filmed entirely in the Ligurian capital and the city’s harbor is the backdrop for numerous scenes.

The port of Genoa has been experiencing a new renaissance for years, starting with the remodeling of the Porto Antico area by Renzo Piano in 1992, which was followed by other interesting projects. The glass and steel biosphere that houses tropical plants and animals, the Bigo and Piazza delle Festa with its panoramic elevator of up to 40 meters make the port of Genoa the tourist and cultural heart of the Ligurian capital.
