There is still a lot to be done in this regard and what happened with Big Brother Vip with Marco Bellavia is a clear sign of that. The positions of some sponsors of the reality show, who at these times openly dispute the content of the program to position themselves on the subject, are symptomatic of the interest in history.
Imagine, therefore, how interested Big Brother Vip could be in exploring it, a program that more than any other has tried to acquire, in recent years, macro themes in which the common sensibility intertwines with the sponsors’ areas of interest, advertising , ‘element that forms the basis of a program on which a large part of the seasonal programming of the main broadcaster Mediaset is based.
All this to say that the problem with the Bellavia issue, also according to what was told to Fanpage.it by people who were informed and close to the program, was precisely the disorganization on the subject, the lack of preparation of the team in a theme that the authors first , as the competitors would not be “prepared” to face. Apparently, before her entrance, Bellavia had not hinted that her discomfort would have characterized her participation in such a massive way, which, in short, would have been a dominant factor in her stay in the House, as it actually was. There are no elements to prove this reconstruction, which, however, does not seem so absurd if we go back to what GF Vip as a program could only be interested in sensitive topics like this one (think of the centrality of the HIV theme with the story of Ciacci).
An even bigger problem, in fact the main one, it seems that the production didn’t understand the extent of Bellavia’s discomfort, although for each potential contestant there is a preventive interview with one or more psychologists to verify their eligibility to participate in the reality show. A glaring error of assessment, if indeed it was so, which we will probably never fully know.
The elephant in the room remains, that is, the behavior of many roommates towards Bellavia: is it possible that a group of people does not have the sensitivity to understand the problem and treat it differently, welcoming it? Is it also possible that a group of authors failed to intervene during construction to correct the shot? Difficult to answer, but objectively repulsive scenes as some of the ones seen in recent days represent, in their gray tone, the glimpse of the truth that remains at Big Brother Vip, the raison d’être of this program. It is in circumstances like these that TV continues to show that it is stuck with an idea of authenticity and that it is capable of acting in its own right. specularity in relation to reality. It shows us an indifference that, on TV built on good feelings, can only be true.
