Martina Colombari she was a guest on the episode of “BellaMa'” the show led by Pierluigi Diaco, where the conductor talks to his guests, leaving them space to recount even particularly difficult moments from his past. It also happened with the former Miss Italy, who revealed that she had been mistreated by some women he had known in his life, especially when he was young, at the beginning of his career.

The story of Martina Colombari

It is the conductor who introduced the theme, talking about statements that Martina Colombari would have made in the past and relating the first periods of her history with Billy Costacurta, still her husband today. Deaco, therefore, declares: “It’s true that you were bad for the way they treated you, they didn’t greet you, but would you expect that from women?”. The answer from the former Miss Italy comes immediately and tells of those moments that, despite being part of her past, remain particularly vivid in her memory:

Eh well, who do you expect this from? Of the men? We women are not smart: we should be better. There should be female solidarity, instead we always think we are in rivalry with each other, where I don’t arrive. I was ignored and felt bad. I was twenty years old when I arrived in San Siro, no one greeted me, they didn’t speak to me, everyone turned around.

The reasons for such difficult behavior, according to Martina Colombari, can only be attributed to one thing: “the usual competition that arises, now at 47 I feel very good in my solitude”.

Discriminating for your beauty

In an interview with Corriere della Sera, on the other hand, the showgirl had stated that her beauty was often an obstacle, so that she could really demonstrate her talent or simply her person: “In some circles my beauty created problems, I was discriminated against. Before my person come the legs and the face and I am “filtered” accordingly. We always talk about inclusion, but that should also be true of beauty, not just race, religion or size.”
