She had a miscarriage and decided to share the dramatic experience to normalize a situation that happens to more and more women:
I decided to share this story because I found myself facing guilt and not understanding why this happened to us. 1 in 4 women experience a miscarriage. I never imagined going through this and I think it’s important to normalize the frequency with which this happens. Life goes on and we have to “pretend” that everything is fine even if you are grieving the loss of something that never came into this world.

Francesca Dugarte participated in the Amici in the eleventh edition, where she was a dancer for Alessandra Celentano, reaching the final of her category, then won by Giuseppe Gioffrè. At school she also had a relationship with singer Marco Castelluzzo. As for her career, she decided to leave Italy and join the Washington Ballet corps in 2015. Then again in America, she joined Ohio Ballet, without returning to our country. As for her love life, however, since 2019 she has been married to dancer Jonathan Jordan, with whom she had her first child Alexander.
