Social media is no longer just platforms used to keep in touch with loved ones, it has become a veritable collection of tips and tutorials to simplify everyday life, especially when it comes to men. The hashtag #beautytok is getting richer every day in content and the particular thing is that they all offer very simple tricks that you can safely recycle into your skin routine. The last arrival concerns the Foundationthat can get lighter with a quick and easy process: that’s all you need to do (at least according to TikTok beauty influencers).
The world of Korean beauty is a point of reference for all makeup lovers and it is from here that a trend was born that is becoming popular on TikTok, the water foundation. The target? Make the foundation lighter by eliminating the oily part and turning it into a mousse. Just add a glass of water to the traditional product, mixing everything with the milk frother. A few minutes after beating the mixture, the cream will have a new consistency: it will be softer, airy and light like a mousse. At that point, you can switch to the app.
How should the mousse base be applied? Just like the “normal” product, that is, with your hands, with a beauty blender or with a brush, taking care to spread the cream evenly over the entire face. The result? The skin will be radiant and hydrated, but at the same time much more natural than when using traditional foundation. The idea was launched by tiktoker Rose Friederike, which started a trend that later went viral. Experts, however, advise against following the tutorial, as destabilizing the original formula of the base can favor microbial contamination.
