Leonardo Del Vecchio passed away on June 27, and his 62-meter yacht was put up for sale exclusively by Royal Yacht International, which revealed the precious boat’s “intimate and familiar” luxury.
Moneikos has been the yacht of the Del Vecchio family since 2006, who have taken care of it meticulously. The luxury boat was on display at the Monaco show at Quai Chicane C22 in the principality of Monte Carlo until October 1st and went on sale after having only one owner as owner.
The yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people on board, in addition to crew members, in eight cabins. The owner’s suite, located under the deck, enjoys a spectacular 180° panoramic view and complete independence from the rest of the ship.
Moneikos was built by the Italian shipyard of Viareggio Codecasa. The yacht underwent restyling in 2017 and 2020. It is equipped with an internal elevator that connects all of the ship’s decks and a central spiral staircase connects the various levels of the ship.
Most of the generous staff cabins are located on the lower deck. While the sunbathing area is about 60% covered and offers guests the opportunity to relax in a circular whirlpool pool with breathtaking views.
The interiors of Del Vecchio’s yacht were designed by Studio Dedalo, who chose furniture of timeless elegance with precious woods and hand-lacquered ceilings. Plenty of space has been reserved for the fully equipped gym, which offers trainers a wonderful view. The cost for Moneikos is 38 million euros.
