James Gunn is known for directing some of the big comic book projects, including the Guardians of the Universe Marvel movies and the suicide squad j fictional for CC. Last month, it was announced that Gunn and Peter Safran have been named co-presidents and co-CEOs of DC Studios, a new entity created to replace DC Films. However, Gunn has two more Marvel projects in the works. Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special coming to Disney+ next week and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It will hit theaters next year. While these will likely be Gunn’s last Marvel projects, some DC fans aren’t thrilled that the director is still working with Marvel now that he’s taking on a bigger role at DC.
Gunn shared a behind-the-scenes photo Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special on Twitter and someone commented “You are DC NOT Marvel!!!” Gunn responded, “As all the press has made clear, I’m DC and Marvel in May. I’ve devoted most of the last 10 years of my life to the Guardians trilogy and I’m not going to list them by the thousands. by people who worked on it until the last hour. The world won’t end if you love both.” You can check the following message:

you have to look Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3🇧🇷
During a recent interview with comicbuch.comin phase zero Host Brandon Davis Gunn was asked if it was necessary to watch the Christmas special for the film.
“Well, I always try to balance those things, so I love it,” Gunn explained. “People need to see this special holiday🇧🇷 Obviously you learn a lot about where the Guardians have been over the years. You know, you will see them living in Knowhere now. They have a new ship called the Bowie. they have a dog [who] He is now part of their crew because he has telekinesis named Cosmo. Where can you learn all that and then there are some bigger chunks of spoilers. You learn all these things. in a sense the special holiday was a Trojan horse for me to sneak in things that become important volume 3So I don’t have to spend a lot of time explaining that at the beginning of the movie.”
