Cher frequently moved house, buying and reselling true gems of luxury architecture. One of her most beloved properties is the Renaissance-style Malibu Mansion. The house was put up for sale in early October, but it still doesn’t have buyers.
Cher’s Malibu mansion is a multi-story home at 25142 Pacific Coast Highway that the star purchased in 1989 for $2.95 million and is now asking $85 million. The property spans 1.7 acres of land and is inspired by the Italian Renaissance style of Venice, with arched windows and panoramic ocean views. The villa includes seven bedrooms, a swimming pool and spacious living rooms. The property is also surrounded by a garden with palm trees and Moorish-style fountains.
In Aspen, Cher has a property designed by architect David Finholm and decorated in the Art Deco style. Every detail of the house was custom-designed and requested by the singer, such as the chairs with elk antlers and sofas upholstered in antique kilims. However, it is unknown if the house still belongs to Cher, but it is certainly available for rent.
Cher also owns a property in Hawaii that she helped build to her liking. The villa, purchased as an investment, measures 877 square meters and includes six bedrooms and six bathrooms, and was offered for sale in 2019 for US$10.995 million. Certainly Cher also has a property in New York that she shares images on social networks overlooking the city skyline, but there is no more information about it.
