Alessia Lanza: “I dream of an invitation to Sanremo Festival 2023, I would be honored”

In his book “It’s Not What It Seems” (Mondadori Electa), Alessia Lanza opens each chapter with a verse from an exergo song🇧🇷 Some of her favorite singers, who ended up in her book, were also chosen by Amadeus as Great for the Sanremo Festival 2023 and so Fanpage.it asked the creator what she thought of the Festival that Amadeus put together for the fourth consecutive year as artistic director. Lanza is one of the most beloved creators on TikTok and last summer she was also among the protagonists of the video for “La dolce vita”, the summer hit sung by Fedez, Tananai and Mara Sattei.

Lanza is certainly one of the creators who could think of a transition from social media to TV., but not as a singer, he explains to Fanpage. However, she does not hide that she dreams of being able to experience the Sanremo festival as a protagonist: “I hope they invite me to the Festival this year, I would be very honored. I am an excellent listener of all the songs, I have my playlist, there will be one I know many singers, there is Tananai and Mara with whom I made the video, there is Lazza who is my brother, there is everything. I am ready to listen to everyone, I even made some bets. A friend of mine, for example, told me that Marco Mengoni will win, I still don’t know, so I would like to be there and comment on everything. Last year I did it virtually, this year I hope to do it live”.

Be able to officially participate and not only is commenting from the outside a dream, but the creator does not set limits: “Who knows, in the meantime I’m already starting to think about the dress to, in case, be ready. It would be very, very, very beautiful and fun. This year is really a crazy and very difficult Festival in my opinion.” She doesn’t say anything about the winner (“I can’t say, but anyone who knows me knows, and I still have to hear the songs, so…”), although there is an international name that she would like to see in that phase: “I have a gigantic one: Dua Lipa, but she’s really huge, she’s crazy”.
