Go behind the scenes of Sasha Banks’ new movie

Sasha Banks (real name Mercedes Varnado) has been out of WWE since she dated a Monday night raw Episode in May and it looks like she’s continuing her acting career in her time outside the ring. A look behind the scenes at the shooting of the upcoming film. the collective went online this week through director Tom DeNucci. The clip shows Banks attempting to attack a man before jumping onto a table and attempting to run down a flight of stairs.

The film’s production is believed to be what Banks referenced in a recent Instagram post. She wrote in early November, “The date I’ve been waiting for for the past 6 months is coming and I can’t wait. But I’m really going to use this November to make all my dreams come true. Preparing for the date I look forward to. I’m really looking forward to it and I hope you’ll join me on this journey. I just want them to know something crazy like this is headed our way. He then tweeted this weekend that filming on the project was complete. Stay tuned for more movie details as they become available!

Banks’ strike was related to her and Naomi falling out with WWE management over their booking as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. After winning the title in wrestle 38, The two insisted on defending the gold hell in a cell but WWE executives wanted each of them to compete (and probably lose) for one of the individual championships on pay-per-view. The two then chose to leave the marks on John Laurinaitis’ desk and left the building as soon as the show started. WWE responded by suspending the duo indefinitely, stripping them of their tag titles and allowing commentary teams to publicly berate them for several weeks.

However, Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon left WWE. Rumors have since circulated that the company is trying to bring in Banks and Naomi through the new leadership (Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and Paul Levesque), but nothing has come of it on TV. And while the two are rumored to have been fired from WWE, they have yet to be removed from WWE’s public roster on their official website.
