After the great success on Netflix, the television series “Incastrati” by the comedians Ficarra and Picone arrives on Canale 5 for its first two nights, on December 7th and 8th, 2022. The Abbey is an ancient monastic complex of Countess Entellina, in the province of Palermo, which was established in the place where twelve hermits founded the first hermitage in the 13th century. The filming of the series Incastrati di Ficarra and Picone did not focus only on Palermo and the surroundings of the Sicilian capital, but also on several other Sicilian locations such as Sciacca, with its renowned historic center, the colorful houses overlooking the crystal clear sea of ​​Sicily. In recent years, the small Sicilian town has attracted several television productions, but also fashion, such as Dolce & Gabbana, which held its fashion shows here.
Plain of the Albanians
The Sicilian landscape is present in several scenes in the Netflix series Incastrati de Ficarra and Picone.
