When it comes to My Hero Academia, no one is more obsessed with the pros than Izuku Midoriya. After all, the star has made a name for herself as a fanboy. His love for heroes has made him one of the best. We’re also sure that his reputation as a fan has given him cosplay skills that we can only dream of. That’s why My Hero Academia wants everyone to know that Deku can dress up in his rival’s classic costume.
In case you didn’t know, the series has previously canonically placed Izuku in the Bakugo suit. The gift was hidden in the pages of Team-Up Missions, a spin-off manga that some fans may not have read. In one of the parts, class 1-A are asked to practice their disguise skills and Izuku is chosen to represent Bakugo.

Sure, she rocks the outfit, but her big eyes are a dead sign of her personality. Deku also struggles to control Bakugo’s loud mouth and penchant for swearing. Despite this, he can put on the Dynamight suit without any problems… but the same cannot be said for the rest of his peers.

On the tape, My Hero Academia asks Hero to dress like Todoroki and he watches his facial expression. Iida manages to look more like Shinso than Izuku when disguised as Deku. And as the mission progresses, we even see Ochaco disguising himself as Tsuru. It is clear that there can only be one winner on a team, and despite his impeccable execution, it is not Izuku. The prize goes to Mina disguised as Kaminari. She absolutely nails her looks and crazy expression. So if you haven’t seen My Hero Academia: Team-Up Mission, I hope this fun game will change your mind.
