Sonja Bakker is again guilty of plagiarism, according to Foodsisters

Sonja Bakker will reuse recipes, photos and text from other recipe makers. Janneke and Amande Koeman from the Foodsisters platform share plagiarism evidence with NU.nl after reporting super guide† The sisters requested a correction from Bakker through a lawyer, but there was no response.

Documented evidence suggests Bakker posted photos to social media that the Foodsisters had previously used in their books and shows. Bakker uses the same recipe expression and structure.

The Koeman brothers share recipes and programs with their followers on Foodsisters. According to Foodsisters, the two sisters asked Bakker through a lawyer to tell their clients about the plagiarism, but the cookbook author refused to cooperate.

“Compensation for the damage suffered by us, use of the photos and lawyer’s fees (by Bakker, ed.) were only linked to conditions such as mandatory confidentiality,” Janneke Koeman told NU.nl.

NU.nl turned to Bakker for a response.

It is not the first time that Bakker has been accused of plagiarism: various recipes in his books and on social networks appear to come from other channels. The nutrition consultant then decided to stop writing books and focus on supporting people. In November 2021, he returned to this subject: just before Christmas, he dreamed of a vegetable recipe book.
