what to expect that program from the 90s Season 2?
When is Leia coming back? point of place?
Leia and her parents live in Chicago, but it takes a few hours to drive from the city to Point Place. This means that Leia will have to wait until Christmas, Spring Break, or Summer Break before Leia can spend more time in Point Place. There were a lot of different trends in the ’90s, so a lot can change every time Leia visits.
In an interview with Collider, Reyn Doi said he felt future seasons would be decided each summer, saying “I think his plan was to do that every season in the summer. I think you [The Turners] He said that in the interview.
Leia x Jay x Nate x Nikki
In a surprising twist, just before Leia left Point Place, she almost made out with Nate, Jay’s best friend and Nikki’s boyfriend. However, Nate’s sister Gwen contacted the couple before anything happened.
Leia and Nate are extremely confused by what just happened and still haven’t fully addressed the implications of how their complicated new feelings will change the dynamic of the group. The next time we see Leia in Point Place, she’ll have plenty of time to decide whether or not she wants to be with Jay, or risk hurting Nikki trying to be with Nate.
Last but not least, emotionally, Leia and Nate are much better for each other than their current partners.
Speaking to Distractify, Callie Haverda (read in the series) said her character would be more confident in season two, saying:
“I think she’s going to step out of her comfort zone with the things Gwen has taught her and we’ll probably see her come back as a more confident person. You have probably had even more new experiences and met new people during your absence. Yeah, I’m really excited to see what happens to her when she comes back.”
Red fury, feline joy
Even with Leia’s return to Chicago, Kitty has said her friends can use the basement as much as they want while she’s gone, much to Red’s chagrin.
After escaping the idiots in his basement, Red now faces a new generation of basement dwellers. We can’t wait to see what effect the new basement dwellers will have on Red while Leia is gone. In the meantime, Kitty will be more than in her element as she acts as a surrogate grandmother to all of Leia’s friends.
Will we see more of Eric?
We saw a lot more Donna than Eric in season one. However, that was because Eric spent most of his summer at camp. Maybe we’ll see more of Eric next season as he tries to bond with his teenage daughter.
Who can we expect in season 2 of that program from the 90s?
We expect most of the cast to return for Season 2;
- Callie Haverda as Leia
- Kurtwood Smith as Red
- Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty
- Colonel Mace as Jay
- Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen
- Sam Morelos as Nikki
- Reyn Doi as Ozzie
- Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate
We also get to see more cameos from former cast members of That 1970s show:
- Topher Grace as Eric
- Laura Prepon as Donna
- Ashton Kutcher as Kelso
- Mila Kunis as Jackie
- Wilmer Valderrama in Fez
because it isn’t That 1970s show on Netflix?
Once the third most watched sitcom on Netflix, That 1970s show left the platform worldwide in September 2020. After a two-year wait, it was finally announced in August 2022 that the sitcom had found a new streaming home with Peacock.
Until it was announced That 1970s show changed to Peacock, Netflix had already worked on it that program from the 90s for ten months, and filming was still going on.
It is extremely confusing that Casey-Werner, the owner of That 1970s show, allowed Peacock to buy the three-year streaming rights while they worked with Netflix on a sequel to the same series. We’re not sure the reasons behind the decision, but Netflix should have thrown the sink at Casey-Werner to get the streaming rights back. That 1970s show.
As it turns out, Netflix subscribers need a Peacock subscription to stream. That 1970s show.
