We also had the chance to do a group interview with Vin Diesel along with other media outlets and ask the star if he’s still learning new things about his iconic character, Dominic Toretto.
“The irony is that I’ve been playing this character for 23 years and every time I go to the next chapter it feels like the first time,” Diesel explains. “And there are new aspects of the character that I’m discovering. They never feel the same. They feel like an accumulation of decades of evolution, an identity that is dissolving. For a kid who’s an actor’s son, for a kid whose dad used to dine on actors all the time, and he was a part of The Actors Studio. I’ve always been amazed at how unique this job is, taking a character into a third decade and still discovering new elements of it. Architect. I am so blessed to have this opportunity, which my father and all the actors from The Actors Studio never had.
