“We are going to talk about the importance of dance in our coronation show”

From 8 p.m., the people of Barranquilla will witness a staging titled ‘Dance: my world, my everything’which pays homage to a cultural expression that identifies the Caribbean culture.

One of the features that has most attracted the attention of the curramberos is the sovereign’s dancing talent. Her movements have fallen in love with those who have observed her. He gave an introduction to it during the night of the reading of the proclamation.

On this occasion, the power that represents for her passion will be portrayed in this show.

“We will talk about how important dance is in the artist’s life, because for many actors in the Carnival this art is part of her life,” said the sovereign in dialogue with EL HERALDO.

Together with King Momo, Sebastián Guzmán hopes to infect those present with the deep feeling that dance evokes in them.

“We will dance together and share all those emotions, that feeling because our queen prepared other monarchs and I accompanied other kings and how nice that this is possible today,” said Guzmán.

More of 400 artists on stage makes this tribute possible under the artistic direction of Ksenia Fernandez.

“We tried to make sure that you can see all the magic from start to finish, not only of the traditional carnival dance, but also of international folklore,” said the choreographer.

For Fernández, it is a way of demonstrating the sovereign’s histrionic circumstances.
