Marvel Studios is changing the pace of the Disney+ series

When Marvel Studios’ “Phase 4” launched in 2021 with four movies and five TV shows, it was the most expansive story to be released in the MCU in a two-year span…ever. During those two years, there was little room to breathe as fans watched new shows week after week, often receiving a new movie almost immediately upon completion. That number of shows and movies to keep track of will be moderate as the MCU adjusts its future plans, and Marvel’s Kevin Feige personally confirms this. Speaking to EW about the volume of his projects, the Marvel frontman revealed:

“I think one of Marvel Studios’ strengths is that these movies and shows are in tune with the zeitgeist. It’s harder to keep up with the zeitgeist when there are so many products and so much “content,” as you say, and that’s a word I hate. [Laughs] But we want Marvel Studios and MCU projects to really stand out and stand out. So that’s what people will see as we go into phases 5 and 6. The pace at which we deliver Disney+ shows will change to give everyone the chance to shine.”

When asked if changing the “pace” of these shows meant doing fewer shows a year or just alternating them between releases, Feige replied, “I think both.”

It’s perhaps a little ironic that Feige says this in one of his first interviews of 2023, a year that could very well see five Marvel Studios TV shows coming to Disney+. At the time of writing, there are new seasons of Marvel’s And if…? AND Loki should arrive later this year stealth invasion also ready to debut. also have the following steel heart series along Agatha: circle of chaoswhich could also start in 2023.

On the other hand, 2024 could be a softer year for Marvel Studios TV as it’s the only time that’s locked in. Daredevil: Reborn. It’s worth remembering that Charlie Cox’s series received a huge order when it was announced, with eighteen episodes scheduled for next year, which is why it’s taking so long Loki, Hawk eyeAND moon knight Sentence.
