Quantumania predicts a worldwide box office of $280 million

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania looks set to start strong at the global box office on its opening weekend. Based on current projections, Ant-Man 3 will gross more than $280 million worldwide in its opening weekend. Predictions from a few weeks ago suggested that. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania would make $120 million domestically in its first weekend, which would be less than Thor: Love and Thunder $144.1 million national opening. At the time, ant man 3 Ticket sales are down 15% for Thor 4, so those estimates seem to add up, and $95 million to $110 million seems to be the revised estimate for Quantumania’s domestic debut in its four-day Thursday-Sunday preview window, in 4,300 theaters.

These estimates clearly depend on how Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania works abroad. China is (unsurprisingly) a huge swing market that Marvel and Disney have set their sights on; China did not allow it Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in its markets, which severely reduced the film’s international box office revenue ($401.4 million), though the film achieved impressive domestic revenue ($453 million amid a box office slump). Antman and the Wasp It proved to have strong international legs in 2018 when it released, doubling the domestic box office ($216.6 million) with international box office sales of $406 million, including an international opening weekend of $169 million. Save everyone some computing power, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania It now becomes the franchise’s highest-grossing opening weekend worldwide, despite international figures fluctuating between $170 million and $180 million.

So far, however, critics are divided. Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaThe film’s promise of a dynamic new MCU villain in Jonathan Majors’ Kang seems like a fitting draw.

Superhero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family explores the quantum realm, interacts with strange new creatures and embarks on an adventure that will bring out into the world. Pushing the boundaries of what they thought possible. Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord . Krylar.
