The Spanish pink became the first artist to receive the award for Producer of the Year at the awards women in music from music magazine Billboard.

“For me it’s very special (to receive the award) because this is not common and nobody knows how hard the production work is,” said the 30-year-old singer from the stage of the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
The singer-songwriter and producer who had conquered the world this year Grandma Anglo in the Best Alternative Album category, thanked “God first”, then her family and third her team and honored the work of all those singers who came before her and inspired her to become an artist.
“Many thanks to the billboard for celebrating women who make music, I make my own songs, write my own lyrics and produce my own music. I dedicate this award to future producers because I know that I am not the first and I will not be the last,” added the author of Malamente.
The music magazine presents these awards annually to honor the work of artists, creators, producers and performing women with emerging careers who have brought new ideas to the music industry in recent years.

Another star of the evening was the American singer-songwriter King’s wool who received the visionary award.
The author of Summertime Sadness was greeted on stage by Olivia Rodrigo and with a short speech, he celebrated the industry’s progress in inclusion and diversity.
“I’m glad now is a good time to express ourselves for who we are, this wasn’t the case 14 years ago when I started my career,” he said.
