New releases on Netflix and Top 10: March 16, 2023

We’re slowly approaching the weekend and today Netflix released a slew of new movies alongside the big new seasons of Shadow and Bone. Here’s everything new on Netflix and trending in the top 10 in the US.

There’s a lot to happen for the rest of March, including highlights the night agent, disconnected, AND The wizard’s elephant.

Entertainment Weekly gave the film a favorable review in 2019, saying:

“It’s a cliché to say that movies like this don’t get made anymore: nasty, nihilistic, nicotine-stained death trips in the ’70s. But thank God Zahler is doing everything he can to refute that cliché.”

This movie is sure to do well in the top 10 over the next few days and we suspect we’ll be featuring it again in our weekend movie roundup.

Fan response to the new series seems pretty strong so far, making a third season (and possible spin-off being talked about today) a growing reality. We’ll have to see what the audience will be like in the coming weeks.
