Brazilian Anitta returns to her roots with her new single ‘Funk Rave’

Brazilian singer Anitta presented her most recent single ‘Funk Rave’, in which she returns to her country’s Funk roots with international sounds. The theme was released in the Champions League final in Istanbul.

The theme shows how the iconic artist is deeply connected to her roots. This time he leans towards Brazilian funk, updating a classic style for the new generation.

About the song, Anitta said, “All the music I’ve made in the last year is music I’m very proud of. It’s both incredibly Brazilian and deliberately international: I made sure it resonated with every fiber of the music.”

Likewise, regarding my return to Brazilian funk, the superstar specified that “it’s what I was born and raised. It’s my home. I made this new music with the intention of showing everyone that roots, which is most important to me, and starting ‘Funk Rave’ does just that.”

His performance in the Champions League final caused a frenzy from the fans, who clamored for the song’s official arrival.

This week, Anitta attended the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2024 Men’s Fashion Show. Earlier this year, he received a nomination in the “Best New Artist” category at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
