Gloria Trevi returns to the screen to tell her story in a bioseries

The executive production and direction was in the hands of Carla Estrada, who explained in an interview that it took three years of hard work and nine months of shooting to recreate the Mexican artist’s life and most difficult moments.

The play, also written by Estrada along with Erik Vonn, Lele Portas and Marco Tulio Socorro, will have a total of 50 chapters shot in 300 locations with more than 500 actors.

The director pointed out that for this bioseries, Gloria Trevi “tells her story of coming of age and achieving success”, to make women aware of their strength and the different kinds of violence they can be subjected to.

“By saying ‘she is me’ we can all be one and everyone can be anything. This story opens our eyes, it changes our perspective of what we (women) can do together, of what violence can achieve in a home, in a family and in a society,” she noted.
