Yolanda Saldívar, Selena’s killer, sent a message from prison

In the text, the woman expressed her lack of interest in participating in interviews and stated that it is her family that is responsible for handling matters related to the media.

“Thanks for your email. Currently I’m not interested in doing interviews or videos or anything like that. My family is the one that handles all my interviews and legal issues coming soon in 2025,” he said in the letter, which was originally emailed in English.

She also apologized for not responding sooner, as at the time the press contacted her, she did not have a digital device to do so immediately. “I have received your previous emails but I received them recently. My tablet was not with me and now that I have it I can respond,” he explained.

Finally, the letter concluded with a recommendation to contact their relatives directly, as they are the ones who control the interactions between the media and Yolanda Saldivar.

“Thank you for your interest in my case, I received your email, I have forwarded it to my family, would you like to talk to them? I have a email I’m sending you from my sister so you can get in touch,” he concluded.

Everything seems to indicate that Saldívar, who has given several interviews to the press in the past, is currently in a phase of silence due to the numerous appeals that both she and her attorney have filed against her sentence.
