Israel is not allowed to attend Eurovision Song Contest for security reasons

Israel could miss the Eurovision Song Contest next month. The security of the Israeli delegation cannot be guaranteed at the moment due to a strike against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with consequences for the security services, responsible publisher KAN reported Tuesday morning.

It is unclear whether Israel will continue the strike, withdraw completely or participate from afar if the strike continues. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has not yet commented on the situation.
