The message that Bizarrap publishes on their social networks contains a photo of the two in their well-known recording studio and a simple text: “MILO || BZRP music session #57“.
In addition, add “WEDNESDAY” as the day the collaboration will be distributed, an Argentinian flag and a helmsman.
With that simple publication, the famous producer put an end to all speculation about who would be the artist who would accompany him in session number 57 and introduced himself to the Argentine rapper and composer. Camilo Joaquín Villarruel, only 16 years old.
With 12 million monthly listeners on the Spotify platform, young Milo J is a rising figure on the local and international scene. His name appears on the billboard of the Argentine edition of Primavera Sound, which will be held on November 25 and 26 with the presence of artists such as The Cure, Blur, Pet Shop Boys or Beck.
Last Friday, Bizarrap premiered a short film inspired by “The Wolf of Wall Street,” collaborating with Argentinian actors Guillermo Francella and Gaston Cocchiaraleand in which he changed his name to Bizapop, causing some confusion about his next session.
“And me? Who should I listen to?”, asks Bizarrap at the end of that video clip, leaving the answer for next Wednesday, October 4, when his new session will be published.
The Bizarrap phenomenon, called Gonzalo Julián Conde, first established itself among the younger audience thanks to the popularity of his collaborations with artists such as Villano Antillano, Tiago PZK or especially session number 52 next to the Spaniards Quevedowhich was number 1 worldwide for seven weeks.
