It all happened because the digital content creator had to buy it SOAT, so he searched the Internet for how to buy insurance and pay for it online. Among so many search results, he landed on a page that seemed to be a well-known and safe company, but it turned out to be a fake site.

The modus operandi of these fraudulent companies is that they take the buyer to a WhatsApp chat where they will supposedly communicate with an advisor to make the payment.

He also pointed out that when he communicated with the alleged advisor in the chat, he had the image of a company.
