Notification! Spoilers ahead for Action comic #1058!One of Superman’s most famous nicknames has been taken to the extreme with Clark Kent’s latest armor. A new villain puts Superman in danger and ultimately weakens the hero’s great power. But help from a former ally helps Clark protect his city, literally transforming him into the Man of Steel.
In Action Comics #1058 In the story “New Worlds Part Two”, by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Rafa Sandoval, Superman’s best powers and image are stolen by Dorian, a member of the xenophobic terrorist group Tierra Azul. While Superman manages to defeat Dorian, Clark is weakened thanks to a magical relic that has taken away his power.

Superman returns home where he finds John Henry Irons, also known as Steel, and asks his friend for something to help Clark until he gets his powers back. John takes Clark to the steel foundry and makes him new armor. Additionally, Steel gives Superman a sword so Superman can put his Warworld training to good use.
Superman has a new armor made by Steel

Ever since Superman returned from freeing the slaves of Warworld, it’s been one thing after another for the hero. The redesigned superfamily was besieged by threats like the newly updated Metallo and Cyborg Superman (all without descending into chaos). The Knight’s Fear). Amid all the chaos the heroes experienced, they also had to face the Blue Earth Movement, an anti-alien movement led by Norah Stone whose goal is to turn the world against aliens, including Superman. Using her magic, she and her followers will do everything they can to rid the Earth of all supernatural influences.
It goes without saying that losing Superman at a time like this isn’t good for the aliens of this world. Norah makes bigger, bolder moves, and reducing Superman’s strength is a dangerous but effective opening move. However, Norah probably doesn’t know that during his time on Warworld, Superman spent much of his time without power, thanks to the planet’s red solar generators. Even without his abilities, Superman has become quite adept at swordsmanship. It also doesn’t hurt that Clark’s armor looks like a duplicate of Steel’s. He may not have the necessary powers, but Superman has everything he needs to remain Metropolis’ best defender.
Superman’s armor will help him destroy Blue Earth

Even without his power, Superman cannot allow Norah Stone and Blue Earth to endanger his home. Fortunately, Clark’s journey to Warworld gave him the training he needed to fight without his overwhelming power. Furthermore, John Henry Irons is one of the most brilliant engineers in the DC universe. If he gave Superman a suit as impressive as Steel’s armor, Clark would certainly have more than enough to defeat Norah and her shadowy syndicate. The armor may not have the range needed for Superman, of course it does, but it will be of great help when you face your new enemies.
Action Comics #1058 It is available now from DC Comics.
