“Radio Güira” has a very broad “purpose,” Guerra said for example: “Mambo23“, the first single from this album, and “Cositas de Amor” are for a very young audience, while “La Noviecita” is a folkloric merengue with influences from jazz and from stone.
“Como Me Enamora” and “DJ Bachata” are “more aimed at our fans because this is the type of music we normally make”, while “‘Te Invito a un Blues’ is intended for jazz and big band lovers, with participation also by Dominican Michel Camilo”.
The launch of this production coincides with Juan Luis Guerra’s presentation next Thursday at the Salt Lake City Maverick Centerfrom Utah (United States), corresponding to his tour “Entre Mar y Palmeras”, with which the Dominican has toured the main cities of the United States, Europe and Latin America.
