The film stars Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle and Fala Chen.
Pictures has released a trailer and new poster for the upcoming film Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. Check it out below:

“/> Godzilla X-Kong promises to learn more about the origins of various Monsterverse characters. As Kong is confronted with the discovery of a young ape monster, his own history regarding Skull Island will likely come into play. Godzilla also gets a chance to explore his past, although the trailer focuses much more on King Kong than the King of the Monsters.
The trailer also promises a scene where Kong and Godzilla team up to attack an unseen figure, presumably the older ape who appears to be related to baby Kong. Both also have upgrades, as Kong appears to have a tank-like mechanical arm. Godzilla has a bright red power that resonates in his feathers before launching another breathing attack. Given these improvements, it appears that Kong and Godzilla will need additional support to stop this secret threat.
The film takes each character deep into the Earth, where entire empires await an invasion. There was a lot at stake Godzilla vs. Kong, but the monsters have to deal with more than just themselves. Also actors like Dr. Ilene Andrews, Bernie Hayes and Jia return. More information will likely be revealed as the release date approaches.
