Urban singer Andy Rivera fell victim to thieves this Christmas season. His father, Jhonny Rivera, was in charge of confirming the news of the theft of a million dollars from the young artist’s house.
According to the ‘El Intenso’ singer, Andy was at the family’s house to celebrate Christmas Eve. An hour later he returned to his home, in Medellín, and received an unfortunate surprise, as the place had been vandalized and several valuable objects had been taken.
The criminals took valuable jewelry, cash and two safes.
The Pereira singer announced the unfortunate news on the afternoon of December 25 through his social networks.
“My people, (I am) sadder. Look, while we were celebrating Christmas here last night, thieves broke into Andy’s house, there in Medellín… They robbed him quite big, including jewelry, money and two safes,” said the artist.
Authorities are analyzing the home’s security cameras to identify the two men who broke in. It is believed that more people were involved in the incident.
The total amount of stolen items is still unknown.
